UPDATE JULY 2025

There Is a new pop song on the web. A very young blind boy was singing it beautifully and, strangely, it had only one line which was repeated over and over. The fact that it was being sung by a blind child, made it even more telling:

“Open the eyes of my heart Lord, I want to see you.”

It could have seemed boring to hear the same words over and over, but the composer might have done that deliberately, to make us think!  In John 14 verse 8 – 9 Philip asks the Lord: “Lord show us the Father, then we shall be satisfied. Jesus replied: Philip, have I been with you all this time and STILL you do not know me?” Very, very thought-provoking words…  Open the eyes of my heart Lord…

As stated in our last update: blessings come all the time, but we are so brain-washed and bombarded by mass media, that we can get disillusioned by all the negatives  and overlook the many blessings.

In this update, we once again offer our readers and benefactors encouragement and incentives to focus also on the good. Don’t forget:   It is no co-incidence that, before he died, our Holy Father Pope Francis declared 2025 as a YEAR OF HOPE. Let us try to make this our vision, even though there are plenty of negative things to cloud our view.   Open the eyes of our hearts Lord, that we may see you…
